The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) announces the recent appointments of the following business leaders in the greater Reston area to its Board of Directors:
1. Mr. Wes Kabance, Portfolio Manager, Toth Financial Advisory Corporation. Appointed March 2023.
2. Mr. Kevin Learned, Managing Partner, Reston Law Group, LLP. Appointed March 2023.
Mr. Wes Kabance is a Portfolio Manager with over 32 years of experience in the finance industry. He graduated from the University of Kansas and is an avid fan of the Jayhawks. Wes is a Series 63, 65, and 66 licensed financial advisor representative. Prior to Toth Financial, Wes spent 28 years with American Century Investments. During that time, he worked with financial advisors in Virginia and Maryland helping them better understand the financial markets, mutual funds, and practice management solutions.
Mr. Kevin Learned began his practice in the Washington, DC office of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP as a member of that firm’s Investment Management group. Mr. Learned then joined Shaw Pittman LLP (which later merged into what is now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP), where he was a member of that firm’s Corporate & Securities Technology practice group in both the Washington, DC and McLean, VA offices. Mr. Learned then chaired the Corporate Practice Group of General Counsel, P.C. in McLean, VA. Mr. Learned joined Reston Law Group, LLP when McMahon, Welch and Learned, PLLC, a firm he co-founded, merged with the firm previously known as David, Brody & Dondershine, LLP. Mr. Learned currently serves as the Managing Partner of Reston Law Group, LLP.
