Ambassador Committee
The mission of the Ambassador Committee is to actively engage the Chamber’s newest members by facilitating connections and involvement with current members. In addition, this committee conducts outreach to current Chamber members to ensure they are maintaining and maximizing the benefits of their membership.
Meeting Day/Time: 3rd Wednesday of the month from 8:30am – 9:30am

Community Engagement Council
The Community Engagement Council works to connect the nonprofit and business communities around issues of corporate social responsibility, seeking to raise awareness and offer opportunities for companies to get involved in giving back.
Meeting Day/Time: 2nd Monday of the month from 8:30 – 9:30am

First Responders Council
The purpose of this council is to recognize and support the critical First Responders in our community through public recognition of the service provided by our dedicated Fairfax County police, sheriff, fire and rescue, with dispatch operations employees.

Meeting Day/Time: Meets quarterly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Government Contracting Council
The mission of the Government Contracting Council is to serve emerging and middle-market government contractors and entrepreneurs by connecting them to contracting and educational enrichment opportunities.
Meeting Day/Times: Fourth Tuesday of the month from 8:00 – 9:00am

Health & Wellness Council
The objective of this council is to build awareness of the importance of living a healthy lifestyle for yourself and for the good of your company. We also want to create opportunities for Chamber members, who are in the health & wellness field, or are committed to it, to become more engaged in a meaningful way. The Reston Chamber wants to partner with the broader community (Reston citizens and Fairfax County) to make this an inclusive initiative.
Meeting Day/Time: 1st Wednesday every month from 10:30 - 11:30 AM

Innovation Council
The mission of this council is to deliver digital content and education to our members with the objective of establishing the Chamber as the most technologically advanced in the region. This group helps the Chamber and its members educate, celebrate and connect around innovation that serves our rich IT community.
Meeting Day/Time: 1st Thursday of the month from 4:00 - 5:00 PM

Membership Committee
The mission of the Membership Committee is to assist the Chamber in actively recruiting new member companies of all sizes and industries. This committee conducts targeted outreach to prospective members by promoting the value of membership.

Public Policy Committee
This is a by appointment only committee, but if you are already active in political circles and enjoy delving into complicated and pressing business issues, you should apply to be a member of this very important committee.

Young Professionals Council
The mission of the Young Professionals Council is to cultivate future leaders through valuable networking connections, education and mentoring programs, while giving back to the local community.

Annual Meeting & Awards for Chamber Excellence
The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce presents our Annual Awards for Chamber Excellence (ACE) to the member companies that have demonstrated excellence, innovation and community involvement over the past year. -
Wellness Fair
Our Wellness Fair offers guidance for establishing, or enhancing, your corporate wellness program. -
Ethics Day
This committee brings the resources of the business community to local schools. Ethics Day is a day of ethical decision making held for all seniors at SLHS each November. -
Jingle Mingle
Kick-off to the holiday season by connecting with friends and colleagues from the Reston business community! This unique and festive celebration includes delicious foods, festive cocktails, casino entertainment and silent auction. -
NoVA B2G Matchmaking Conference and Small Business Expo
Help plan the only business-to-government held outside of the beltway! The Conference features one-on-one pre-scheduled matchmaking meetings for businesses with federal, state and local agencies and prime contractors. Attendees of this event also receive access to educational sessions and vendor resources at the Small Business EXPO.
