The mission of the Ambassador Committee is to actively engage the Chamber’s newest members by facilitating connections and involvement with current members. In addition, this committee conducts outreach to current Chamber members to ensure they are maintaining and maximizing the benefits of their membership.
The mission of the Communications Committee is to assist the Chamber in promoting our mission, vision and strategic priorities and achievements to our membership and broader community using a diversity of communications tools. In addition, the Communications Committee assists our members in utilizing the marketing benefits and opportunities that are available to Chamber members. This committee is currently invite-only.
The mission of the Emerging Professionals Council is to cultivate future leaders through valuable networking connections, education and mentoring programs, while giving back to the local community.
The mission of the Government Contracting Council is to serve emerging and middle-market government contractors and entrepreneurs by connecting them to contracting and educational enrichment opportunities.
The mission of the Innovation and Technology Council is to deliver digital content and education to our members with the objective of establishing the Chamber as the most technologically advanced in the region. This group helps the Chamber and its members educate, celebrate and connect around innovation that serves our rich IT community.
Generating sales leads is the key to any business success. LeadShare acts as your expanded sales team, providing introductions and “warm referrals” to individuals and companies you want to do business with. Leadshare members build rapport and strong working relationships that support each other’s business initiatives as referrers, customers, suppliers and mentors. Participation in Leadshare grows your professional network, sharpens your sales presentation skills and increases the centers of influence supporting your operations.
The mission of the Membership Committee is to assist the Chamber in actively recruiting new member companies of all sizes and industries. This committee conducts targeted outreach to prospective members by promoting the value of membership.
Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce plays a role advocating within our local and state politics in alignment with our Public Policy Positions.
In effort to stay connected and active, our Public Policy Committee allows a space for us to delve into complicated and pressing business issues within our community. This is an appointment only committee, but if you are already active in political circles and enjoy sharing your voice on critical topics, apply to become a member of this vital committee.
