32nd Annual Ethics Day with South Lakes HS
In 1992, the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and South Lakes High School established a unique partnership - the first program of its kind - to take the entire senior class to the Hyatt Regency Reston where they spend the day learning about ethical decision making and how it will affect their adult lives. Using a series of four different complex, but real-life scenarios, students are asked to review, discuss and reach ethical decisions for each scenario.
We are proud to continue this tradition every year and bridge together our business community with the rising young adults ready to step into the professional world - whether it be through workforce or collegiate paths. Each year, we announce a volunteer opportunity for TABLE LEADERS - approximately 60 volunteers to lead small groups of 8-10 students through these modules and facilitate vibrant discussion.
