Always Best Care provides non-medical in-home care and also offers families free help locating the best fit independent or assisted living community. The company is licensed by the Virginia Department of Health to provide personal care services such as dressing, bathing, and feeding. Companion care services including meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation to doctor’s appointments are also offered. Caregivers are employees of Always Best Care, so the company covers all payroll taxes and workers’ compensation insurance. All employees are carefully screened prior to being sent into anyone’s home. They must provide professional references and pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. Service is available from two hours to live-in care.
