About Us

Since 1974, Volunteer Fairfax has been the regional leader to engage, train, and mobilize volunteers. Volunteer Fairfax, a 501(c)(3) public charity, amplifies its mission through three distinct service pillars: (1) recruitment of community volunteers; (2) training nonprofit volunteer managers on volunteerism best practices; and, (3) being the Fairfax County and City of Fairfax’s co-lead for volunteer and donations management during emergencies and disasters.
